FIRST Robotics Team 836, The RoboBees, have developed these comprehensive identity standards and guidelines to solidify our programs brand and to ensure the consistent format when displaying all associated imagery. Having a single, well defined image allows our program to maintain our professional appearance and safeguards against public relations issues. All members and persons using media from FIRST Robotics Team 836, The RoboBees, shall abide by these standards and guidelines set forth in this document.

Team Name and Mascot

  • Official Name: FIRST Robotics Competition Team 836: The RoboBees
  • Nickname: The RoboBees
    • The nickname shall appear in magneto font when used in a logo or as a heading
  • Acceptable usages in Written and Verbal Communication:
    • FIRST Robotics Competition Team 836: The RoboBees
    • The RoboBees
    • FIRST Robotics Team 836: The RoboBees
    • FRC Team 836: The RoboBees
    • FRC Team 836
    • Team 836
  • The team should not be referred to as:
    • The Bees
    • RoboBees
    • Bees
  • When spelling “RoboBees”, the second “B” must be capitalized
  • The Team Mascot
    • The team mascot shall be referred to as “Sting” or “Sting the RoboBees”
  • The team name cannot be changed with consent from all students and mentors

Team Logo

The following team logos are acceptable for use. The black and white version of the logo should not be used unless the media will only be printed in black and white. If larger versions are required, please request them by emailing Team836@RoboBees.org.
